VIXX’s HYUK (Han Sang Hyuk) draws attention by releasing a special new song for his birthday.
Agency Companion Company released the cover image of HYUK’s new digital single “HOME” on its official SNS on July 1 at noon KST and announced the release of the new song.
The released image was the result of HYUK’s own participation in the design, and the shape of the house made using the name of the song “Home” immediately attracted attention. A bear, representing HYUK, and a girl on the roof, showed the deep affection for fans through cute illustrations with the two protagonists leaning against each other.
“Home” is a solo song that HYUK will release about 11 months after the late Kim Kwang Sseok’s remake, “혼자남은밤“, released in August last year. July 5th, the release day, is HYUK’s birthday, and he is receiving more enthusiastic responses as he introduces a special new song for fans on this birthday.
Before the song’s official release, HYUK performed “Home” for the first time during an exclusive fan concert held at the Unjeong Green Campus Auditorium of Sungshin Women’s University in March. At the time, he gained attention by claiming it was a song he had worked on for his sister’s wedding song.
He also said: “I have worked with a feeling of love, support and blessing for someone, and I have thought of you a lot. I will make an effort to become your home bigger and bigger” , sending a heartfelt message to fans.
“Home” will be released on various music sites on July 5 at noon KST. HYUK, who entered the training center in April, works as a social worker after completing his basic military training.
