The group (G)I-DLE became a “million seller” for the third time in a row.
According to the Hanteo Chart on July 15, (G)I-DLE’s (Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi and Shuhua) 7th mini album “I SWAY” released on the 8th recorded 1.0,266,973 copies sold (the sales of the album over a week depending on the release date).
(G)I-DLE’s album has once again sold over a million copies, winning its third consecutive title, following its sixth mini-album “I FEEL” released last year and its second full album “TWO” released in January.
The group also had a successful performance on the music charts. The title song “Klaxon” ranked third on Melon HOT100 (in 30 days), ninth on the HOT100 (in 100 days), and sixth on Genie and Bugs’ real-time charts in Korea. It gradually raised its ranking to 16th place in the Melon TOP100 (as of 8 a.m. KST on the 15th), showing an unusual rise.
(G)I-DLE’s seventh mini-album, “I SWAY“, released on July 8, is an album with (G)I-DLE’s refreshing summer sensibility and bright energy. (G)I-DLE attracts listeners at home and abroad by revealing its skills and charm through various contents such as “The Seasons-Zico’s Artist” and “Relay Dance” as well as various music shows.
(G)I-DLE will appear on Mnet’s “M Countdown” on the 18th and continue its activities.
