“Legend of the second generation” KARA delivers a message of hope this summer.

KARA (Sunghee, Nicole, Gyuri, and Seungyeon) will release digital single “I DO I DO” on various music sites at 6 p.m. KST on July 24. KARA’s comeback comes about a year and eight months after the special album “MOVE AGAIN“, released in November 2022 to celebrate the 15th anniversary of her debut.
The title track “I do I do” is a combination of the members’ refreshing vocals with a rhythmic tempo that immediately draws listeners into the blue sea. It contains KARA’s bright summer days, creating a time when the sun sets and memory manipulation like walking on the evening sea. It’s clearly exciting, but the band completes a caratoid summer song with a mysterious, dreamlike sound that seems to dream for a moment.
The music video played with the sound source is a recording of a summer day like KARA’s dream, which makes us happier to be together. If you follow the path filled with blue delphiniums, which only bloom in summer, memories of KARA’s past await members. Especially, with items representing KARA’s representative songs hidden everywhere, it’s fun to find them.
In addition to this, the single also includes “Hello”, which was pre-released on the 16th. “Hello” was planned to be included in KARA’s fourth full-length album “FULL MOON” in 2013, and the first full-length song from all six members of KARA was born by adding vocals recorded in Korean by the late GOO HARA. Under the theme of the various meanings of greeting “Hello”, such as the joy of reunification and the sadness of separation, the members’ calm voice doubled their sad emotions and impressed fans at home and abroad.
To commemorate the release of the single, KARA will also host pop-up events with photo booths at Garosu-gil photo store in Gangnam, Seoul (July 24 to 30) and Sakaechka photo-matic stores in Shibuya Dogenjaka and Nagoya (July 24 July to August 18). With photo frames decorated with group and individual images of members, fans can leave special memories. Mini photo exhibitions will also be prepared on site, raising expectations.
KARA will release its single “I DO I DO” on various music sites at 6 p.m. KST on the 24th, and will hold a solo concert “2024 KARASIA” in Tokyo, Japan from August 17 to 18 and in Osaka from August 24 to 25 to continue her reputation as the “Korean Wave Queen“.
