Idol group DRIPPIN (Hyeop, Yunseong, Changuk, Dongyun, Minseo, and Junho) has started a countdown to its full-fledged comeback.
Woollim Entertainment‘s agency released the comeback schedule with DRIPPIN’s fifth single “WEEKEND” on its official social media at 10 p.m. KST on August 6.
The released schedule attracted attention with a cute image showing the teaser schedule for “WEEKEND” on a blue background. According to the schedule, concept photos that give a glimpse of the concept of “Weekend” will be released over a total of three days on the 8th, 9th, and 10th, starting with the track list.
In addition, an album preview will be released on August 12, one week before the comeback, and a music video for the title track will be released on the 16th. The spoiler video will also be released over a period of six days, further amplifying the anticipation of fans around the world who have been waiting for DRIPPIN’s comeback.
DRIPPIN’s comeback comes about four months after the release of their fourth single “Beautiful MAZE” in April, and they have reached a “career high” with over 130,000 initial sales (one week after the album’s release). This is about 10 times the initial sales of their third single, “SEVENS,” and the highest record of their career, proving their “hot” popularity as the number of albums sold was sold out at once due to strong sales.
“WEEKEND” will be released on major music sites at 6 p.m. KST on August 19.
