RIIZE’s SEUNGHAN, who announced his return to the group, greeted his fans in a handwritten letter.

On October 11, SEUNGHAN posted a long handwritten letter on fan community platform Weverse, saying, “First of all, I would like to sincerely apologize to the members and fans.”
“I was disappointed and regretful when my pre-debut photos were released. I was too, but I couldn’t tell what the members and fans were supposed to look like. I’m sorry to those who were hurt by my immature behavior at the beginning, which is such an important time.” SEUNGHAN said.
“Because I was so disappointed in myself, I thought more realistically about whether I could go on stage again and continue making music. In the meantime, the members came together again, hand in hand. It must have been a difficult decision, but I’m so grateful and sorry for being given this opportunity.”

“Fans who are worried about what the achievements they built when I wasn’t here won’t be disappointed, and I know I have a lot to show to meet the expectations of the company that made such a difficult decision. There’s also pressure and fear about it. But I’ll work as hard as you believe in me,” he said.
Finally, SEUNGHAN expressed his determination, saying, “I want to be a necessity for the group RIIZE.”
Earlier in the day, Wizards Productions, who was in charge of producing RIIZE, announced, “SEUNGHAN will be participating in some of the group’s programs scheduled to start in November sequentially.”

Wizards Productions stated, “Because we recognized that SEUNGHAN’s past behavior was not desirable as an artist, the time to consider when to resume his activities became longer. We decided that the next chapter of RIIZE, which we have been planning since the debut, would be more meaningful with all seven members together, and after several discussions with managers and working-level members about the direction of the group’s activities in the future, we decided that SEUNGHAN would return to the group.“
SEUNGHAN had suspended his activities within the group indefinitely last November due to a controversy over his personal life before his debut. RIIZE (Shotaro, Eunseok, Sungchan, Wonbin, Sohee, and Anton) has been active as a six-member group.
