Hybe Music Group’s Pledis Entertainment label announced on November 1 that it has appointed Kim Yeon Soo (VP) as its new CEO.
Kim Yeon Soo joined Pledis Entertainment in 2012, launched SEVENTEEN, and spearheaded its advancement in Japan, contributing to its growth as a global K-pop star.
In 2023, he was appointed as the representative of Hybe Labels Japan, which includes the group and &TEAM. With this appointment, he will also be the representative of both companies.
Kim Yeon Soo said, “We will try to provide content that allows us to truly enjoy our original entertainment while prioritizing artists and fans.”
Pledis Entertainment, meanwhile, includes BAEKHO, HWANG MIN HYUN, BUMJU, SEVENTEEN, FROMIS_9, and TWS.
