ONEWE, a talented boy group, warmed up for about 170 minutes with their more advanced group performance.
ONEWE (Yonghoon, Kanghyun, Harin, Dongmyeong, Giuk) held a solo concert “2024 ONEWE 4th Live Concert ‘O! NEW E!volution IV‘” at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul from November 30 to December 1.
As vocalist YONGHOON said, “I came here with the intention of surpassing myself,” ONEWE performed four songs including “Shoot it out,” “Off road,” and “End of spring” after “Star,” adding to the excitement of the beginning. With dramatic composition and detailed sound, ONEWE’s unique stories are exposed.
As “O! “NEW E!volution IV” is the last solo concert held under the name ONEWE this year. There were signs of anxiety over the composition of the setlist, with some of the songs selected from different episodes. ONEWE showed its talent as a band amidst a variety of sounds that transcended intensity and freshness. A dynamic performance with powerful vocals completed a captivating performance.
In particular, ONEWE freely roamed the stage and showed its relaxed stage manners. The perfect harmony between the members stood out, as they continued to perform while making eye contact with each other. Through “Trigger_”, “Freedom from MM“, “Gravity”, and “Trauma (aquarium)“, they instantly transformed the venue into a rock festival site and released explosive energy. The performance using the speaker gave a lot to see.
They also performed new songs. The concert hall was decorated with messages of comfort for fans, including the title track “크리스마스는 이래야지“, which was released during YONGHOON and KANG HYUN‘s military service, which was sung as a whole group and the new unreleased song “검은 별“, which goes well with the end of the year.
The encore stage began with fans singing “Counting the stars” together. ONEWE made the solo concert finale hot with a unique charm that has never been seen before, with “Crazy good“, “Pleasant”, which promises to be together forever through , “Actor”, a new song with cute dances, “After 15 seconds“, which was performed under the group name MAS before ONEWE, and “Eraser”, which forced the members to change instruments.
ONEWE said,
“We had a fruitful year thanks to WEVEs (official fandom name) in 2024. Thank you for reaching these precious milestones and filling the concert hall. ONEWE’s energy is always endless. We will do our best to sing and perform only for WEVEs.”
ONEWE will appear on “LIVE ON” on December 14, “2024 Someday Christmas – Busan” on the 25th, and “COUNTDOWN FANTASY 2024-2025” on the 30th to highlight its presence as a “festival powerhouse.”
