YG Entertainment announced on December 16 that it will release a limited edition LP album that contains the essence of musical journey with analog sensibility to commemorate the 15th anniversary of 2NE1’s debut.
The “2NE1 15th ANNIVERSARY BEST LP” will feature their first song “Fire”, followed by “I don’t care“, “Can’t nobody“, “Go away“, “Slow”, “I Am the best“, “Ugly”, “Lonely” and “Miss you“. The last track is expected to be “Come back home“, the real live sound source of the Seoul concert, which recently ended with great success, giving a sense of the era.
Since this is 2NE1’s Best album to be released for the first time in Korea, we focused our efforts on the overall composition. It consists of a transparent case that takes into account the display and a purple vinyl with a splash pattern. Various types of circular posters, lyric posters, metal credit boards and selfie photo cards are also prepared.
The message also includes a handwritten message from the members for fans who have shown their eternal love over the past 15 years. The song contains 2NE1’s story, the symbolism of the 15th anniversary, and the members’ sincerity, which is expected to garner positive feedback.
“2NE1 15th ANNIVERSARY BEST LP” will be available from December 16 to 31 on various music sites including YG Select and Ktown4u. It will be produced only for the actual number of orders, and each LP will come with a limited edition hologram sticker. It will be delivered sequentially starting in late March 2025.
2NE1 is currently meeting fans around the world with the Asian tour “2024-25 2NE1 ASIA TOUR [WELCOM BACK]“. Those who show their sales power by continuing to perform to sold-out audiences in most concerts are moving to Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Ho Chi Minh and Macau, after Manila, Jakarta, Kobe and Tokyo, further raising the temperature.
