Group POW continues its active global movement.

On December 20, Grid Entertainment announced that it will begin recruiting for the official Japanese fan club of the group POW (Jungbin, York, Hyunbin, Dongyeon, and Hong). According to the agency, POW will open its official Japanese fan club “POWER JAPAN” in partnership with CJ ENM Japan Inc., which operates the Mnet channel and the Mnet Smart+ video service.
POW will sign various strategic alliances with Mnet Japan and engage in local activities. Members who join the official Japanese fan club will receive various contents and benefits such as behind-the-scenes photos, videos, and pre-sale tickets for Japanese performances, as well as first access to news related to their activities in Japan.
POW already held its first solo fan meeting in Japan in March and has been highlighted as a rising group. Since then, he has become known in Japan by performing on stages such as “Neighbors Con” at Yokohama Arena in Japan and “IDOL RADIO SUPER ROOKIES Vol.2” in Tokyo. In particular, POW has covered songs by various local singers at Japanese performances, proving infinite growth potential and building connections with fans.
Recently, with the release of its second EP album “BOYFRIEND”, it was highlighted by overseas media such as Billboard and NME, and showed the essence of step-by-step growth by performing in New York at the Jingle Ball Tour, the largest year-end festival in the United States. POW is expected to open a Japanese fan club with momentum and strengthen his global position.
POW, which is growing with the label “K-pop Underdog”, continues its active global activities, including the opening of the official Japan fan club.
