BAE173 - J-MIN
BAE173 member J-MIN has declared suspension of its group activities.

BAE173’s agency Pocketdol Studio stated today that “J-MIN has expressed his intention to end BAE173’s activities,” adding, “We plan to do our best with the remaining members in the future.”
J-MIN, who debuted as a member of BAE173 in 2020, will be re-debuting as a member of the project boy group “CLOSE YOUR EYES” formed last year, finishing third on JTBC’s audition program “Project 7.”
In response, J-MIN expressed his desire to focus on “CLOSE YOUR EYES” activities, and his agency and the members reportedly agreed. But Uncore, which manages “Pocketdol Studio” and “CLOSE YOUR EYES,” are at odds over the contract. They are in conflict over certain provisions and issues when drafting contracts for “CLOSE YOUR EYES.”
When J-MIN was selected as a member of “CLOSE YOUR EYES“, Pocketdol Studio refused to sign the contract, saying, “The content of the contract offered by Uncore is different from what was revealed before appearing in Project 7“, and involved a lawsuit, saying, “Uncore unilaterally takes artists to prepare for debut and effectively forces them to sign a management contract.”
At this time nothing has really been resolved between everyone, and the focus is on how their relationship will evolve and what choices J-MIN will make. Will J-MIN leave BAE173 for good?
