Virtual idol group PLAVE returns with its third mini album.

PLAVE’s third mini album “Caligo Pt.1” will be released today at 6 p.m. KST on various music sites.
This album is a new chapter that goes further than the “ASTERUM trilogy,” which was the prelude to PLAVE’s debut. It consists of five songs from various genres including rock, urban pop, hip-hop, R&B, and ballad, and all of the songs were composed, written, choreographed, and produced by the members, revealing their own idol sides.
The title song “Dash” is an impressive song with an intense rock-based sound, revealing PLAVE’s transformation at the forefront. In order to express the intensity of PLAVE’s own emotions, and not just a song with a strong concept, the members improved the completeness by refining the song and choreography countless times.
The music video for “Dash” was also produced on a large scale with more than twice the manpower and production time than before. The music video, which combines intense visuals and narration, dramatically captures PLAVE’s new challenges and changes.
The track “Island,” which was pre-released as a special video on the official YouTube channel, features a comfortable and gentle R&B tempo with a piano melody that is reversed from the charm of the title track. It is a serenade completed by the addition of lyrics that confess that my world, which was monotonous because of “you,” has been colored with a beautiful light.

In addition, the sweet fan song “12:32 (A to T)” featuring guitarist Jukjae, “Chroma drift” with a retro urban pop sensibility, and “Rizz” with addictive laid-back hip-hop. It contains a total of five songs with the members’ efforts and affection.
“Caligo Pt.1” is released about five months after the release of the digital single “PUMP UP THE VOLUME!” in August. It created a buzz with its unconventional visuals and concepts that completely deviate from the lively and dynamic charm shown in the previous single. In particular, various pre-contents, such as concept photos, animated posters, a highlight medley video, and music video teasers, which were released sequentially after the comeback announcement, raised expectations for a high-quality album.
PLAVE’s story, which began with the mysterious planet ASTERUM, will now convey more mature musicality and emotion to fans through the journey of self-discovery in confusion.
In the meantime, PLAVE’s third mini album “Caligo Pt.1” will be released today at 6 p.m. KST on various music sites.
