YVES
Singer YVES has been nominated for the “Korean Popular Music Award”.

YVES’s second EP album “I DID” has been selected as a candidate for the “Best K-Pop Record” category for the “22nd Korean Popular Music Awards” announcing the nominations for each category on February 6.
“I DID” is an album that unveils various emotions that YVES encountered during his journey to find tranquility as a solo artist. It received favorable reviews from listeners by depicting YVES’ deep inner story with a sensual sound.
The selection committee of the “Korea Popular Music Awards” explained about “I DID” that “a variety of musical food that cannot be defined as hip-hop, R&B, hyperpop, and K-pop makes its own claims throughout the album.”
“I DID” adopts a cool and relaxed attitude. Playing lightly on the ground of producers Milik and IOAH, who run Pexpermil, YVES said: “It’s not even a question of killing two birds with one stone, singing and performing“.
YVES presented her first and second EP albums “LOOP” and “I DID” last year, grabbing the “Solo of the Year” title. Recently, she showed her global presence by successfully completing the North American tour “2025 YVES APPLE CINNAMON CRUNCH TOUR IN NORTH AMERICA” after Europe.
