BLACKPINK member JENNIE is solidifying her position as a solo artist.
According to the list of winners of “Billboard’s Women in Music 2025” released by Billboard on the 12th (local time), JENNIE has become the main character of the Global Force Award.
“Billboard Women in Music” is an awards show that selects and recognizes the best female artists, creators, and producers who have had a great impact on the music industry this year. JENNIE was honored alongside international artists such as pop stars Angela Aguilar, Erica Badu, Gloria, and Tayla.
Billboard explained about JENNIE, “The incomparable JENNIE was recognized for her explosive global influence when she began her solo career.”
JENNIE announced her successful solo debut by entering the Billboard main single chart Hot 100 for two consecutive weeks with her single “MANTRA,” which she released in October last year. Additionally, her recently released single “LOVE HANGOVER” set its own record by ranking 96th on the Billboard Hot 100. She will release her first solo studio album “RUBY” on March 7.
“Billboard Women in Music 2025” will be held on March 29 (local time) at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles.
