Cube Entertainment‘s boy group NOWADAYS showed its spectacular presence at the Hanteo Music Awards.
NOWADAYS appeared at the “32nd Anniversary Hanteo Music Awards 2024 (HMA 2024)” held at Jangchung Gymnasium in Seoul on the 15th. They gave off pleasant energy with their debut song “OoWee” with a solid live performance, a group performance with perfect teamwork, and more relaxed stage manners. Then, they made the atmosphere even hotter with their own trendy personality through “Let’s get it“.
He was also named the winner of the male category “Blooming star“. The “Blooming star” award is given to the next generation of artists who have blossomed their musical talent based on infinite possibilities, and he was recognized for his presence at home and abroad as the “5th generation all-rounder group” thanks to its vigorous activities last year.
NOWADAYS members said, “Thank you to Hanteo Music and DAY_AND for giving us a wonderful award, to all the staff who always work hard for us. Since we have received such a meaningful and honorable award, we want to work hard to show good performances and spend a year coloring our colors.“
They also reinterpreted Deux’s “Please look at me” with their own color. NOWADAYS, who reinterpreted the flashy performance of the original song with a trendy synchronized dance, not only attracted attention by performing acrobatic choreography, but also made a strong impression as a next-generation rookie who will take on the responsibility of K-pop by filling the stage with fresh and intense energy.
Since its debut in April last year, the group has gained recognition as a talented boy group by releasing their first single album “NOWADAYS”, its second digital single “RAINY DAY (2024 Remake ver.)”, its second single “NOWHERE”, and its second digital single “LET’S GET IT“. The group will continue to grow rapidly, planning its forest activities in 2025.
