Singer and actress BIBI is making her comeback.
BIBI will be releasing her new double single “행복에게” today. It is a piece of BIBI’s new universe and the first new song in three months since “DERRE,” which was released last November.
The double single is special in the sense that BIBI relaxes and focuses on her warm emotions. The title track “행복에게” is a song that hopes for spring to come after winter, and its soft acoustic guitar sound and BIBI’s comforting vocals are impressive. BIBI’s new choice, which goes with surprise and the unexpected, is expected to convey another charm.
Another track, “겨울,” conveys a similar but strangely different feeling. While “행복에게” sings of hope while waiting for spring, “겨울” depicts how she felt about winter from a more cynical perspective. Like the double single released so far, the song has two themes, drawn from different emotions and perspectives of the cloned human story EVE and EVE-1, defined by BIBI this time.
BIBI also participated in the double single and took the lead in all directions. She composed and wrote the lyrics of the song and directed the music video to express the special feeling of winter. The music video presents a natural image of BIBI under the theme of “winter weather“.
BIBI, who rose to fame as an actress last year through the Disney+ original series “Gangnam B-side” and the SBS Friday-Saturday drama “The fiery priest 2“, will show a great performance as a singer-songwriter and versatile artist with active music activities this year.
