On February 21, 2025, D.I, former member of GREATGUYS, posted a song named “Wait” on his social media.
The song is presented as a song written before leaving for the army and with the aim of offering his fans a message of hope, telling them that he will return soon and that they just have to wait a little longer.
The young man, who has been enlisted since April 2024 for his compulsory military service, had previously released a track called “Tomorrow”. The songs he is currently producing are all in collaboration with the singer KISU.
On this new song “Wait”, D.I is in featuring with the artist Kwon Dong Hyuk, who also have participated in the writing and composition of the song. As for his previous song, the English translation of “Wait” is available directly on the video, which lets us guess a romantic song, quite typical of D.I’s songs but carrying a beautiful message of hope and love for the fans who are looking forward for his return.
Although still in the army, artist D.I, formerly known as Dongin, continues to think of his fans and is already preparing his return. It is a safe bet that despite his absence, he continues to write many songs as he already did when he was still with GreatGuys.
