2AM member and musical actor JO KWON has stated that he was the victim of a crime of abuse and theft of personal information and has taken legal action regarding the matter.

“We have recently been informed of a case of acquiring artist JO KWON‘s personal information and using it for threats to obtain money. This is a clearly illegal act, and we take it very seriously, and we have already appointed a law firm to take legal action.”
“We will take all possible legal measures without any leniency or agreement for criminal acts committed in accordance with obvious malice. If you find any threats, leaks of personal information, and other criminal acts against any of our artists, please report them to us.” they added.
