BLACKPINK’s choreography video for “How you like that” has surpassed 1.8 billion views, continuing its global success.

According to YG Entertainment, on March 7, BLACKPINK’s “How you like that” choreography video surpassed 1.8 billion views on YouTube as of 5:25 a.m. This is about four years and eight months after its release on July 6, 2020, once again breaking the record for the first and most-watched K-pop choreography video.
With this video, BLACKPINK has three videos with over 1.8 billion views on YouTube. Previously, “DDU-DU DDU-DU” (2.2 billion views) and “Kill this love” (2 billion views) reached the same number of views.
“How you like that” is a song that tells us to never give up and to fly high. It won “Song of the Summer” at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards and topped YouTube’s “Best Global Summer Songs” chart the same year.
The song also achieved remarkable results. Upon its release, it was “Perfect All Kill” on the Korean charts, ranked No. 2 on the global Spotify Top 50 charts, and ranked 20th and 33rd on the UK’s Official Singles Top 100 and Billboard Hot 100, respectively, demonstrating its powerful influence on the mainstream pop market.
In addition, BLACKPINK will kick off their “BLACKPINK 2025 WORLD TOUR” from the Goyang Main Stadium in Gyeonggi Province on July 5 and 6. They will connect with fans around the world through 18 performances in a total of 10 cities, including four cities in North America (Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, New York) and four cities in Europe (Paris, Milan, Barcelona, London) and Tokyo, Japan. Since “BORN PINK” set a new record for a K-pop girl group by attracting 1.8 million viewers, they are expected to gradually expand their reach as this is their first tour in about a year and five months.
