INFINITE - LEE SEONG JONG
LEE SEONG JONG of idol group INFINITE has won a settlement lawsuit against his former agency.

LEE SEONG JONG recently won a civil lawsuit against his former agency, SPK Entertainment, for unpaid settlement payments.
LEE SEONG JONG, who signed an exclusive contract with SPK Entertainment in August 2022, has not received the necessary support for television appearances, fan meetings, and album releases, including the advance payment promised at the time of the contract.
The request for correction of the content certification and contract violations against SPK Entertainment was not accepted, and LEE SEONG JONG notified the termination of the exclusive contract last year due to the lack of a continuous response. Since then, a mandatory adjustment has been established in the request for an injunction to suspend the validity of the exclusive contract, making him a free artist.
At the time, LEE SEONG JONG also filed a lawsuit to pay settlement fees for his activities over two years, including settlement fees for INFINITE activities, YouTube appearance fees, and settlement fees for fan meetings in Japan. He eventually won the lawsuit on February 28, about a year after filing the lawsuit.
The court ruled, “The defendant (SPK) shall pay the plaintiff (Lee Seong Jong) the money calculated at a rate of 6% per year from April 21, 2023 to February 28, 2025, and 12% per year from the day after the date of full payment.”
In the meantime, INFINITE, which includes LEE SEONG JONG, released their 8th mini album “LIKE INFINITE” on the 6th and announced a spectacular comeback in the music industry. On April 12 and 13, the 15th anniversary tour “LIMITED EDITION” will be held at Inspire Arena in Yeongjong-do, Incheon, and the group will meet with fans.
