“Phantom Singer 4” winner JUNG SEUNG WON hit an explosive high note in his first solo appearance on “Immortal Songs.“

JUNG SEUNG WON appeared on KBS2’s “Immortal Songs,” which aired at 6:05 PM KST on March 15, and delivered a high-quality performance that even impressed the original artist.
While the first-generation girl group, Baby Vox, featured on “Immortal Songs,” JUNG SEUNG WON reinterpreted Baby Vox’s famous song “Why” in a vocal style. “Baby Vox’s “Why” uses string instruments, so I thought classical music would be a good fit,” said JUNG SEUNG WON.
JUNG SEUNG WON, who performed with the 14-piece orchestra, then sent goosebumps with his high, unstoppable vocals, and added depth by singing “Why” with his powerful voice. The reaction from the cast and Baby Vox was enthusiastic to JUNG SEUNG WON‘s “Why,” which gradually built up its high notes.
“It was my first time seeing Jung Seung Won perform. It was amazing to see him compete on just one song,” said Yuk Joong Hwan. “He was like a wounded wolf,” said EXID’s Jeonghwa, who admired Jung Seung Won from the first verse, while Hani chimed in, “He’s a man. We’re in trouble.“
Baby Box couldn’t take its eyes off Jung Seung Won. Yoon Eunhye said, “This masterpiece must be sexy,” while Lee Heejin praised his performance, “I felt like I was watching a musical. I became a huge fan of Jung Seung Won.”
JUNG SEUNG WON, former winner of Phantom Singer 4, confirmed the release of his new song “I mean, I love you” on the 25th, announcing his comeback. This new track, “I mean, I love you,” will be released on March 25 at 6 PM KST.
