BOYNEXTDOOR will make its comeback with a new mini-album in May.

KOZ Entertainment announced on April 15th that BOYNEXTDOOR would release its fourth mini-album, “NO GENRE,” on May 13th.
On Friday afternoon, the group posted a comeback animation on its official accounts. The animation, which depicts a regular character, exudes a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. While running, he makes a spectacular leap for a moment. The release date of the new album, “NO GENRE,” set for 6 p.m. KST on May 13th, has raised expectations.
“NO GENRE” is BOYNEXTDOOR’s new album, released eight months after its third mini-album, “19.99,” last September. This is their first comeback in about four months since the release of their first digital single, “IF I SAY I LOVE YOU,” in January of this year.
BOYNEXTDOOR garnered attention by debuting at number 40 on the Billboard 200 chart in the United States with its third mini-album, and achieving its first million-selling album in Korea. Continuing its steady rise, the group reached a career-high with “If I say I love you.” The song ranked fourth on Melon’s “Top 100” at midnight KST on January 7, one day after its release, and seventh on the monthly chart in February. It ranked ninth on the latest weekly chart (counting period: April 7–13) and has consistently received critical acclaim. It topped the Apple Music Top 100 for 37 consecutive days, from January 9 to February 14. It also achieved international success, ranking on the Billboard Global (non-US) and Global 200 charts.
BOYNEXTDOOR recently successfully completed its first solo tour. Beginning in Incheon, the company will perform 17 times in 12 cities, from Tokyo, Aichi, Osaka, Miyagi, Fukuoka, and Kanagawa to Singapore, Manila, Taipei, Hong Kong, and Jakarta, followed by encore concerts in Tokyo and Seoul.
