BTS member JIN will return with a new album in May.

JIN will release his second mini-album, “ECHO,” on May 16th at 1 PM KST. It’s been more than six months since his first solo album, “HAPPY,” was released last November. JIN has decided to return soon, eager to see his fans more often.
“ECHO” is an album that depicts different moments in life, like echoes in various forms. It tells stories and emotions that everyone will experience at least once in their life, with a clear and witty perspective.
JIN’s colorful vocals are reflected in the seven songs on the new album. Furthermore, after “HAPPY,” we find the consistency of JIN’s musical tastes, inspired by the group’s sound.
JIN’s music video premiered at K-POP SQUARE MEDIA at the COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, this morning at 6 AM. In the video, JIN attracted attention by holding up a sign indicating the new album’s release date over a claw machine filled with dolls. JIN’s unique visuals, which took up the entire front of Korea’s largest LED screen, particularly made a strong impression.
Big Hit Music‘s agency stated, “We held this promotion with the hope that more fans will experience JIN’s comeback in a new light and that everyone will have fun waiting for it. Thank you for showing so much interest and anticipation for JIN and ‘ECHO.'” The video will air every 30 minutes from 6 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., every day from April 15th to 19th.
