This Monday, April 14, 2025, the rookie group DAYCHILD presented its two new members : SUNGHOON and YEJONG via its social networks.
The announcement came just before the group’s one-year anniversary and came as a surprise to many DAYONs (the fandom’s name). There is currently little information about these two new members, except that SUNGHOON is now the new youngest member of the group, and with the existing members : INTAE, SIWOO, K, and EDEN, the boys now number six.
For several weeks now, the members, mainly SIWOO, have been talking about how hard they’ve been working and preparing for their upcoming comeback, but no official information has been released yet. This announcement does, however, give a glimpse of the group’s new visuals, as each member is represented under the title “THE NEW DAYCHILD” and we also saw the group’s logo change to something much more colorful.
DAYCHILD, which debuted in May 2024, has already released three single albums, including one in Japanese. The group’s last comeback was in February 2025 with their Japanese single “君とならば“
Fans are eagerly awaiting to learn more about the two newcomers as well as the upcoming comeback and have already welcomed SUNGHOON and YEJONG with enthusiasm.
