Group HIGHLIGHT will release a new track, “Endless ending“, under their former name “BEAST”, for which they now own the trademark rights.

According to Around Us Entertainment, HIGHLIGHT will release the pre-release track “Endless ending,” from its sixth mini-album “FROM REAL TO SURREAL,” on music platforms on April 16 at 6 p.m. KST.
This is the first time in nine years that HIGHLIGHT has released a new track under the name BEAST since its 2016 album “HIGHLIGHT.” HIGHLIGHT has entered into a “BEAST” trademark agreement with Cube Entertainment, which they promoted last year.
“Endless ending” is a song that compares past relationships to the ending of a movie. It soothes the regrets associated with the end of a breakup and the nostalgia for past memories.
“Through ‘Endless Ending,’ HIGHLIGHT perpetuates their memories of BEAST,” said Around Us Entertainment. This special and meaningful change will be an opportunity to remember the precious time shared by HIGHLIGHT and their longtime fans, and to strengthen their strong bond.

HIGHLIGHT debuted as a six-member group in 2009. They are one of the most representative second-generation idol groups, whose title track, “Fiction,” beat out top contenders at KBS 2TV’s “Song Festival” as “Best Song of 2011.”
In 2016, they established an independent label, Around Us Entertainment, without renewing their contract with their former agency, Cube Entertainment. Since then, the name BEAST has been discontinued, as Cube Entertainment now uses it. Since the departure of JANG HYUN SEUNG and YONG JUN HYUNG, the group currently has four members: YOO DOO JOON, YANG YO SEOB, LEE GI KWANG, and SONG DONG WOON.
The album “FROM REAL TO SURREAL” will be released on April 28 at 6 p.m. KST.
