The male group POW will participate as pre-cultural performance artists in the “2025 Korea-Thailand Women’s Volleyball All-Star Super Match,” an event dedicated to sports exchange between Korea and Thailand.

Jointly organized by the Korea Volleyball Federation (KOVO), Hwaseong Special City, and KBSN, the Super Match will take place at the Hwaseong General Indoor Gymnasium in Gyeonggi, Gyeonggi Province, over two days, on the 19th at 2 p.m. KST and on the 20th at 6 p.m. KST. POW (Jungbin, York, Hyunbin, Dongyeon, and Hong) will preview both matches.
The “Korea-Thailand Women’s Volleyball All-Star Super Match” has been held regularly since its first edition in 2017. It aims to develop sporting and cultural exchanges between the two countries and strengthen the international competitiveness of women’s volleyball. Suspended after the 2019 tournament due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it took six years to prepare, with the launch of Hwaseong Special City giving it a new meaning.
At the event, POW will perform hits such as “Favorite,” “Amazing,” and “Boyfriend” to set the house ablaze. Each song features a different concept and interpretation, offering a variety of things to see and hear.
Following its recent selection of ambassadors for “ASICS SportStyle SS25” from five Asian countries, POW, which connects with domestic and international fans through various content, will expand its activities to sporting events through this All-Star Super Match, strengthening its position as a K-pop artist.
In addition, POW’s self-produced web drama, “Always There,” will premiere on the official YouTube channel on April 18 at 8 p.m. KST. This web drama is an engaging work about the members’ process of breaking down into high school students and building friendships through getting to know each other. Many fans are expected to react enthusiastically as they will be able to experience the original soundtracks the members sang in person, as well as their acting talents.
