EXO former member LUHAN has reportedly broken up.
Chinese media outlets, including ETtoday新聞雲, reported on April 20 that “LUHAN appears to have broken up with Guan Xiaotong.”
The media stated, “Guan Xiaotong used to send a happy birthday message every year. She usually sent one at 11:03 PM. However, she didn’t send one this year.“
After putting aside their seven-year age difference in 2017, LUHAN and Guan Xiaotong began dating. Since then, marriage rumors have surfaced five times, but all have been denied. However, rumors of a breakup surfaced once in February. Guan Xiaotong wasn’t with LUHAN on his birthday, and they haven’t been seen together for over ten months. She also deleted all comments about Luhan from her account and announced her return to singlehood on WeChat last November.
However, neither LUHAN nor Guan Xiaotong have expressed a specific position on the breakup rumor, with some claiming the rumor originated from the agency’s efforts to manage his popularity.
LUHAN debuted as a member of EXO, but in 2014, he moved to China after being suspended for health reasons. He later filed a lawsuit against his agency, SM Entertainment, to confirm the absence of an exclusive contract, but the court ruled in favor of SM Entertainment. Luhan nevertheless left EXO and began a solo career in China.
