ELKIE
CLC former member ELKIE is hospitalized for carbon monoxide poisoning.

On May 2, ELKIE posted a photo on her Instagram account showing her condition in the hospital, revealing the moment she was rescued and cared for.
ELKIE said: “I woke up yesterday morning and had a headache. I thought, ‘I’m going to take some medicine,’ but everything went white in front of me, I ran around, and collapsed. I was taken to the hospital by ambulance, and they said it was carbon monoxide poisoning. They thought it was a gas leak. But there was no smell, no smoke, and no noise. I just thought I was tired, sleepy, and had a headache lately. I didn’t really know.”
She said she was hospitalized and receiving high-pressure oxygen, adding: “My condition is stable. I thank my friends for their help.“
ELKIE emphasized the importance of recognizing the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning and preventing it through adequate ventilation and the installation of detectors.
Born in Hong Kong in 1998, ELKIE made her debut in the music industry in 2016 by joining the group CLC. She also left the group in February 2021, leaving Cube Entertainment.
