CRUSH
Singer CRUSH paid tribute to him by reinterpreting the masterpiece by jazz master Chet Baker.

CRUSH’s special track, “Everything happens to me,” was released on multiple music platforms on May 9 at midnight KST. The song was included on “Chet Baker Re:imaged,” a tribute album commemorating the 70th anniversary of the release of Chet Baker’s seminal work, “Chet Baker Sings.” Artists from around the world participated in the project, and CRUSH was nominated alongside leading international musicians.
CRUSH has always considered Chet Baker a musical idol. In 2018, he visited his grave and laid flowers for him through Mnet’s “The Imagination of a Deokhu Becomes a Reality,” and also covered “Everything Happens to Me” at a recent fan meeting.
“It’s a great honor to be able to represent the music of Chet Baker, whom I’ve long admired,”
said CRUSH. I tried to bring my own interpretation to this song, which conveys detailed and contained emotions. I hope this song will warmly touch all those who love Chet Baker.
