Fans are organizing colorful events to celebrate JIMIN’s military discharge and the 12th anniversary of his debut.
As June 11 approaches—the day JIMIN completes his military service—fans are preparing various support projects, primarily around the Yongsan district in Seoul, where HYBE’s headquarters is located.
JIMIN’s main fanbase, “All For Jimin Korea,” will host an event at a café in Yongsan from June 10 to 15 to celebrate his return with many fans. In collaboration with the Chinese fanbase JiminBar, they will also set up a bus wrapping advertisement from June 1 to 15.
All For Jimin Korea is also partnering with another Chinese fanbase, JiminMoonRising, to display an advertisement at a bus stop across from HYBE’s headquarters starting June 1. Additionally, a similar advertisement will be displayed at a bus stop in front of Nine One Hannam for one month. A QR code included in the advertisement will allow fans to view a video containing their messages to JIMIN.
In collaboration with JiminMoonRising, All For Jimin Korea will install a massive 8.5m × 8.4m banner on the façade of the Owall Hotel located behind HYBE’s headquarters. This banner will be in place from June 10 to 15 to celebrate JIMIN’s military discharge and the 12th anniversary of his debut.
Meanwhile, JiminBar will display advertisements on a large screen in the transfer corridor of the Airport Express Line at Hongdae Station from June 9 to 15, and on the giant curved screen in Hongdae from June 11 to 13. Events will also take place in cafés in 10 Chinese cities to celebrate these two occasions.
Finally, the fanpage FabulousBoy will circulate a decorated bus from June 11 to 17. This bus will be filled with heartfelt handwritten messages from fans expressing their love and support for JIMIN, adding even more meaning to this celebration. These initiatives surrounding his return and debut anniversary are generating great excitement among fans.
