A special photo shoot featuring rookie band AxMxP, held in celebration of the “Beautiful Mint Life” festival, has been revealed in the latest issue of Cosmopolitan.
Even before their official debut, the members of AxMxP were included in the lineup for “Beautiful Mint Life”, quickly earning attention as a highly promising new band. In the interview accompanying the photo shoot, the members shared their excitement about participating in the festival.
Lead vocalist HA YOOJOON said:
“I plan to give it my all on stage, showing the passion and boldness of a rookie — and step off that stage with no regrets.”
The youngest member, bassist JUHWAN, added:
“We want to make people feel a full range of emotions — joy, sadness, anger, and happiness — through our music.”
When asked to introduce himself and share his goals, HA YOOJOON replied:
“Being able to send a message to the world with my voice is incredibly powerful to me. I started making music as a hobby back in high school, and I ended up being cast by the agency by chance. That’s how I became the vocalist of this band — and I’ve been hooked on band music ever since. I originally wanted to do hip-hop, but now I want to grow into a musician who can master both genres.”
Drummer CRU, answering the same question, said:
“I want to help people through music. My dream is to spread positive energy on stage. After winning an award at the Seoul Drum Festival, I joined AxMxP.”
JUHWAN shared the moment that sparked his dream of being in a band:
“Back in elementary school, I happened to hear N.Flying’s ‘Hot Potato’ on TV, and that’s when I started getting interested in bands. I learned guitar in sixth grade and joined the school’s music club. After passing an audition, I’m now preparing to make my official debut with AxMxP.”
Guitarist KIM SHIN also expressed his excitement:
“Since I was little, I’ve always loved expressing my own stories through art — and music became a big part of that. In middle school, a teacher encouraged me to audition, and ever since, I’ve dreamed of sharing my message — and AxMxP’s message — through music. I can’t wait for our debut.”
The highly anticipated rookie band AxMxP will perform at the “Beautiful Mint Life” festival, which takes place from June 13 to 15 at Olympic Park in Seoul.
