The international girl group KATSEYE (캣츠아이), from HYBE and Geffen Records, continues to make waves on the UK Official Singles Chart.
According to the UK Official Chart released on May 30 (local time), KATSEYE’s digital single “GNARLY (날리)” ranked 81st on the latest Official Singles Top 100 (May 30 to June 5). This is a jump of 9 places from the previous week and marks its fourth consecutive week on the chart.
KATSEYE’s momentum also continues on the world’s largest music streaming platform, Spotify. “Gnarly” placed 46th on the Weekly Top Songs Global chart (May 23–29), maintaining its highest position for three consecutive weeks.
KATSEYE’s rise is also notable on the US Billboard charts. “Gnarly,” which debuted at number 92 on the main “Hot 100” chart, landed at 32nd and 53rd places on the Billboard “Global (Excl. U.S.)” and “Global 200” charts dated May 31, respectively, confirming its steady popularity.
With “Gnarly,” featuring bold sounds and spectacular performances, KATSEYE has heightened anticipation for their second EP album “BEAUTIFUL CHAOS”, set to be released on June 27. The album will include five tracks in total, including “Gnarly,” “Gabriela,” “Gameboy,” “Mean girls,” and “M.I.A.”
In a recently released tracklist video, KATSEYE teased a powerful comeback by showing scenes of them breaking a monitor, a vase, a car, and more without holding back. Earlier, KATSEYE said about “BEAUTIFUL CHAOS”: “This will be the work that most clearly shows what kind of group we are and the direction we are heading.”
