AHN SEONG HOON, from the agency Totalset, known for its prominence in the trot music scene, captivated listeners with his cheerful energy.
On June 9, AHN SEONG HOON appeared on the KBS Happy FM radio show “은가은의 빛나는 트로트” (English title: Gahyeon’s Shining Trot). Currently participating in a program where he’s taking on the challenge of running a marathon, he shared:
“Since starting the marathon, I’ve lost weight. I began because of the program, but once I got into it, the joy it brought me made me want to run with passion,” he said, expressing his enthusiasm.
He also introduced his recently released new album titled “LOVE STORY”.
“Just like love comes in many forms, I wanted to reflect different situations and genres in this album. The title track ‘사랑해요’ (I Love You) is a dance song, so I went for a bold and daring look on stage,” he explained.
AHN SEONG HOON added:
“I took part in writing the lyrics for three songs on this album: ‘사랑해요’ (I Love You), ‘비밀이라서’ (Because It’s a Secret), and ‘한 사람을…’ (For One Person…). I hope listeners will enjoy picking songs to suit their mood or the day of the week.”
He performed the title track “사랑해요” live during the broadcast. With its upbeat and energetic melody, his powerful vocals, and dynamic choreography, the performance left a strong impression on listeners, showcasing his infectious energy.
Already familiar to the public before his official debut thanks to appearances on various KBS shows such as “아침마당“, “노래가 좋아“, and “6시 내고향, AHN SEONG HOON recently joined Season 2 of “Birth of a Worker“, heightening anticipation among fans.
Meanwhile, AHN SEONG HOON will meet his fans on a concert tour scheduled for July.
“I’m honored to perform alongside my respected senior, Lyn. We’ll kick off the tour in Jeonju, then head to Daegu, Busan, and finally Seoul. If you’re nearby, I’d love for you to come see us,” he added.
