The hopefuls for the next K-pop group from BOYS II PLANET met with the public in the middle of a park.

On the afternoon of June 14, at Sangam DMC Park in Mapo District, Seoul, Mnet’s global project “BOYS II PLANET” (directed by Kim Shin-young, Jung Woo-young, and Ko Jung-kyung), which aims to form the next major K-pop boy band, held its very first offline event titled “PLANET DAY: OPEN STAGE.”
After generating an enthusiastic response from global fans with the performance of the “signal song” (theme song), the 160 trainees met the star creators (mentors) for the first time, drawing attention from fans around the world.
Meanwhile, “BOYS II PLANET” will officially premiere on Mnet on Thursday, July 17 and Friday, July 18 at 9:20 PM KST, with the debut episodes of “Boys II Planet K” and “Boys II Planet C” airing respectively.
