The DAY6 phenomenon is coming to the big screen… Worldwide release confirmed for August.

The K-pop/rock group DAY6 is making its first appearance on the big screen with the musical film “6DAYS”, a “music road movie” that will be released exclusively in CGV theaters in Korea this August, followed by a global release.
“6DAYS” is a musical road movie that follows six days of adventure, music, and freedom on a cinematic journey with DAY6. The film, co-produced by MBC and DEJONG FILM, and co-financed/distributed by CGV ICECON and CJ 4DPLEX, is more than just a concert recording or a simple travel diary. It follows a true narrative script, in the style of a fictional movie.
The story follows the group during a six-day trip to Los Angeles, just after the completion of its world tour last summer. Amid unexpected encounters and unforeseen events in unfamiliar landscapes, the members of DAY6, celebrating its 10th anniversary, face themselves with sincerity and emotion.
“6DAYS” showcases exotic landscapes, busking performances (street concerts), a diverse playlist, and the members’ authentic stories, bringing the warmth of this unforgettable summer to the audience. The film will feature sound optimized for cinema, allowing the audience to fully experience the band’s musical universe, with special acoustic versions of songs rearranged for the film.
Above all, the film’s release will not be limited to a classic 2D format. It will also include SCREENX, 4DX, and ULTRA 4DX screenings, further heightening fans’ excitement.
-
SCREENX will project the images across three screens, immersing viewers in the majestic landscapes and the band’s performances.
-
4DX will add dynamic motion effects to intensify the road trip and live sounds.
-
Finally, ULTRA 4DX will combine both technologies for an unprecedented, immersive cinematic experience.
The main poster revealed to announce the release shows SUNGJIN, YOUNG K, WONPIL, and DOWOON from behind, running freely down a deserted road under a bright sky. This image evokes a refreshing sense of freedom and sparks curiosity about what these six days will hold, building anticipation for a new chapter of youth to be written by DAY6.

The film “6DAYS” will first be released in August exclusively at CGV theaters in Korea, followed by an international release. All information regarding the release is available on the official CGV website, the mobile app, and international partner websites.
