As BABYMONSTER gears up for its return on July 1st with the track “HOT SAUCE,” the group continues to draw attention by racking up millions of views with its performance videos.

According to their agency, YG Entertainment, the performance video for its official debut track “Sheesh” surpassed 200 million views on YouTube at around 6:04 a.m. KST on June 23. This milestone comes about one year and two months after the video was first released, on April 5.
This is an exceptional achievement, especially considering that it’s not an official music video, but rather a choreography video. It highlights the group’s growing influence on YouTube—one of the core platforms of the global music industry, further solidifying their reputation as the “next-generation YouTube queens.” Their official YouTube channel now boasts 9.43 million subscribers and over 4.7 billion cumulative views.
BABYMONSTER now has five videos that have surpassed 200 million views, out of a total of ten videos with over 100 million views. In addition to “Sheesh” (300 million views), the music videos for “Batter up” (300 million), “Forever” (200 million), and “Drip” (200 million) have all reached similarly impressive numbers.
The “Sheesh” performance video has received praise for its stunning direction, which amplifies the group’s expressive power and performance skills. The track itself has been a global success, climbing high on major charts such as Billboard and Spotify, contributing to the video’s ongoing popularity.

Meanwhile, BABYMONSTER is set to make their comeback with the pre-release single “HOT SAUCE” on July 1st. Executive producer Yang Hyun-suk shared, “We prepared this track as a gift, hoping you’ll have a joyful summer,” describing it as a highly addictive hip-hop song inspired by the late 1980s, raising fans’ anticipation.
BABYMONSTER is also in the midst of its first world tour, performing 32 shows in 20 cities around the globe. They will continue their activities with the release of a second single in September, followed by a mini album in October.
