BrandNew Music has officially ended its exclusive contract with LIM YOUNG MIN, former member of the group AB6IX.

On June 26, BrandNew Music announced:
“We would like to inform you that our exclusive contract with artist LIM YOUNG MIN has come to an end.”
The agency added:
“After thorough discussions about his future activities, both parties have mutually agreed to terminate the contract. We sincerely thank everyone who has supported and loved LIM YOUNG MIN until now.”
LIM YOUNG MIN first rose to fame in 2017 through the Mnet survival show “Produce 101 Season 2.” He debuted in the project duo MXM alongside KIM DONG HYUN, and later made his official debut in May 2019 as the leader of AB6IX. However, in June 2020, just a year after debuting with the group, he was caught driving under the influence, which led to his departure from AB6IX.
After completing his military service, he resumed his career as a solo artist starting in 2023.
