AKMU member LEE CHAN HYUK is making his long-awaited return with his second solo album, titled “EROS”, set to drop on July 14 at 6 PM KST.

His agency, YG Entertainment, announced the news on June 30 via its official social media, sharing a teaser titled “[EROS] ANNOUNCEMENT.” The video features a glitchy, green-toned TV screen with intense static noise and an eerie sound, creating a tense and mysterious atmosphere.
What especially caught fans’ attention was the album title “EROS”, displayed on the screen — sparking strong curiosity and imagination. The word “Eros,” which broadly defines love, also draws an intriguing connection to his first solo album “ERROR”, thanks to their similar pronunciation.
Having consistently delivered unexpected musical approaches and thought-provoking messages, LEE CHAN HYUK has sparked anticipation once again — this time, for the expanded musical universe and narrative he’ll unveil with “EROS.”
YG Entertainment stated: “With this album, you’ll experience not only LEE CHAN HYUK’s unique production style, but also bold musical experiments and detailed storytelling. After three years, fans can expect an even more solid and refined work.”
Through both AKMU and his solo releases, LEE CHAN HYUK has left his mark on the industry with numerous hits and has built a reputation as a trustworthy artist. His performances — born from original and unconventional concepts — have consistently grabbed attention and earned praise from both fans and critics alike.
In addition, AKMU will hold their “2025 AKMU STANDING CONCERT [악동들]” from August 8 to 24 at Myeonghwa Live Hall in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul, with a total of nine shows over three weeks. The concert series will feature standing-room only shows, with a different setlist each night, offering audiences a unique experience and a deeper dive into AKMU’s diverse musical world.
