WINNER - MINHO
WINNER member SONG MINHO was involved in a traffic accident following his referral for military service violations.

It was recently revealed that SONG MINHO, a member of WINNER, who was transferred to the prosecutor’s office for violating his military service obligations, was also involved in a car accident.
According to reports from the music industry and media outlets on July 5, SONG MINHO was involved in a taxi accident near Dapsimni Station in the Seongdong District of Seoul on June 14.
The accident was not severe, but SONG MINHO reportedly visited a hospital for precautionary measures to address any potential aftereffects.
Recently, SONG MINHO was transferred without detention to the Western District Prosecutor’s Office in Seoul for violating the Military Service Act.
Initially classified as a 4th-grade reserve soldier during his military examination, SONG MINHO was assigned to a public service position at an institution in Mapo, Seoul, from March 2023 to December 2024. However, he is accused of failing to fulfill his duties.
The prosecution opened an investigation after receiving a referral from the Military Manpower Administration in December of last year and cited SONG MINHO without placing him under detention.
SONG MINHO denied the allegations during his first questioning in January, but he reportedly acknowledged most of the charges during the third round of questioning.
In addition, WINNER, the group he is a part of, will hold a solo concert titled “In Our Circle” on July 26th and 27th at the Olympic Hall in Seoul’s Olympic Park. The concert will proceed with a three-member formation, featuring KANG SEUNGYOON, KIM JINWOO, and LEE SEUNGHOON, with SONG MINHO absent.
