HYOYEON
HYOYEON, member of GIRLS’ GENERATION, is releasing a new solo track.
According to her agency SM Entertainment, on July 16 at 6 PM KST, HYOYEON will release her new song “Yes” along with its music video on various online music platforms.
This marks her first solo release in about nine months, following the song “Retro romance” released last September.
“Yes” is a sped-up house track centered around a two-step rhythm and a rhythmic bassline. The agency describes it as “sophisticated and energetic,” with a “captivating and confident topline” as one of its key features.
Alongside her DJ career, HYOYEON recently performed on July 11 and 12 (local time) in San Francisco and Los Angeles, respectively, as part of her fourth North American DJ tour. She is scheduled to perform in New York on July 18 and in Denver on July 19.
