J-HOPE’s stage at Lollapalooza was a culture of its own.

BTS member J-HOPE headlined Lollapalooza Berlin on July 14 (KST), held at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin, Germany, and closed out the festival’s main stage with a spectacular performance.
That day, approximately 60,000 people gathered on site. J-HOPE’s concert was streamed live on the global superfan platform Weverse, reaching audiences in 226 countries and regions. International media outlets praised the roughly 90-minute performance.

Music magazine Rolling Stone Germany named J-HOPE one of the standout acts at Lollapalooza Berlin, calling him a “fully realized K-pop artist.” The outlet wrote: “For an hour and a half, a Champions League-level K-pop performance unfolded. J-HOPE’s show wasn’t just a concert. It was mesmerizing, artistic, a culture in itself.” They added: “A unique world centered entirely around J-HOPE opened up. His stage instantly turned Berlin into the global capital of pop,” continuing their glowing review.
German public broadcaster ZDF heute journal also focused on J-HOPE’s performance. The report covered how J-HOPE, BTS, and K-pop as a whole have become a global cultural phenomenon. They emphasized: “BTS is more than just a group. They’ve become symbolic figures representing a generation, extending even to the White House and the United Nations.”
Audience members at the event also shared their reflections:

Music media outlet Billboard wrote: “J-HOPE closed out the festival with explosive energy. The 90-minute performance featured tracks from Hope World and Jack in the Box, BTS hits, and his latest solo songs. It was truly an unforgettable experience.”
The article continued: “Even the lights from the official ARMY Bombs were enough to stir emotions, and the cheers from the crowd went beyond that. During the performance of “Sweet dreams” (feat.
