NEWBEAT will be performing at the “2025 Yeosu K-Mega Island Festival.”
The group NEWBEAT (Park Minseok, Hong Minsung, Jeon Yeoyeojeong, Choi Seohyun, Kim Taeyang, Jo Yunhu, and Kim Riwoo) is set to participate in the “2025 Yeosu K-Mega Island Festival,” which will take place on July 26 in the Sky Tower Zone of the Yeosu Expo in South Jeolla Province.
On that day, NEWBEAT will deliver high-energy performances, including their title track “Flip the coin” from their first full-length album “LOVE & RED,” as well as “Highs and lows” and “Jello (힘숨찐).” A special band version of “We are young,” a fan favorite, will also light up the festival atmosphere.
NEWBEAT made its official debut in the music industry this past March with the release of their first studio album “LOVE & RED.” They quickly captured public attention through their Mnet reality show “Drop the NEWBEAT” and their SBS fan showcase “힘숨찐 해부실,” making a strong and memorable entrance onto the global music scene.
Since then, the group has performed on major stages including the “2025 LOVESOME Festival,” “Seoul Spring Festa – Seoul Wonder Show,” “KCON Japan 2025,” “MyK Festa,” and now the “Yeosu K-Mega Island Festival,” earning enthusiastic responses. In addition to their stage performances, they’ve actively engaged in various efforts such as blood donation campaigns and street concerts, strengthening their bond with fans both in Korea and around the world.
The “2025 Yeosu K-Mega Island Festival” is a multidisciplinary cultural event that celebrates all aspects of K-culture, from music to cuisine. A portion of the proceeds from this year’s festival will be donated to charity to support those in need, reinforcing the festival’s spirit of solidarity.
NEWBEAT is set to release a new digital single titled “CAPPUCCINO” on August 5 at noon, and they are also planning a comeback with a new album later this year.
