JOY, a member of the group RED VELVET, will be releasing a new solo album.
According to her agency SM Entertainment, she will drop her solo mini-album titled “FROM JOY, WITH LOVE” on August 18.
Previously, in May 2021, JOY released a special solo album titled “HELLO”, made up of remake tracks. That album topped the iTunes charts in 26 regions around the world. The title track, which shares the same name as the album, also reached No. 1 on Korean music charts Genie and Bugs.
The upcoming album will include a total of six songs, including the lead track “Love splash!” The agency stated, “JOY will bring a refreshing summer vibe with songs that tell a variety of love stories through her unique sensibility.”
Pre-orders for “FROM JOY, WITH LOVE” begin today. All tracks will be available for streaming on major online music platforms starting at 6 PM (KST) on the day of the album’s release.
