MAMAMOO member MOON BYUL is opening her own “emotional laundry.”
Today (28th) at 3 PM, MOON BYUL launched pre-orders for her 4th mini album “LAUNDRI” on various music platforms.
“LAUNDRI” comes in three versions: “LAUNDRY,” “SOFTENER,” and “COIN.” The album’s title plays on the word “laundry” by replacing the final “y” with an “i.” The physical albums also take inspiration from everyday items related to the washing process
What stands out is that each version offers unique components. The “LAUNDRY” version, packaged to resemble a washing machine, includes an 88-page photobook, fragrance samples, a folding message shaped like a clothes hanger, a DIY kit, and more. The “SOFTENER” version, styled like a fabric softener bottle, includes photo cards, a QR card, image cards, a label keyring, and other goodies. The “COIN” version, with a symbolic coin in a mini case, contains photo cards, stickers, and other collectible items, making it highly desirable for fans.
“LAUNDRI” is an album that conveys MOON BYUL’s various emotions through the metaphor of doing laundry. It will also include the pre-released digital single “ICY BBY,” which dropped last June. A trailer for the album has already been released, building anticipation for her comeback.
MOON BYUL’s 4th mini album “LAUNDRI” will officially be released on August 20 at 6 PM on all major music streaming platforms.
