Singer NAM WOO HYUN is making a fresh return to the summer music scene with a brand-new album.
On July 30 at 6 PM (KST), NAM WOO HYUN will release his fifth mini-album, “TREE RING,” on all major music platforms, marking a highly anticipated comeback for fans around the world.
The title “TREE RING” refers to the growth rings found in trees, symbolizing maturity. This album not only showcases NAM WOO HYUN’s artistic development as a musical “tree,” but also carries a meaningful promise, much like a ring, one of his symbolic motifs—that he’ll continue growing and staying close to his fans through music.
The title track, “Only direction” (Korean title: 온리 직진), is a rock’n’roll song driven by bold guitar riffs and dynamic drum beats. It tells the story of a passionate, single-minded sprint toward love, choosing just one path, straight ahead. This intense message delivers a powerful yet refreshing energy, perfect for the summer.
