HUENINGKAI of TXT reveals an unexpected charm in the music video for his solo track.
On August 2 at midnight (KST), HUENINGKAI, a member of TOMORROW X TOGETHER (Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, Hueningkai), released the music video for his solo song “Dance with you” on HYBE Labels’ YouTube channel. The track is a contemporary R&B piece blending groovy guitar riffs with sleek trap beats, using dance as a metaphor for the desire to understand and grow closer to someone. HUENINGKAI skillfully switches between soft vocals and deep tones, conveying the song’s emotions with finesse.
In the music video, HUENINGKAI is shown working in a bar when he feels a sudden, intense attraction to someone. That desire is expressed through captivating choreography. Unbothered by passersby or the noise of the street, he walks as if irresistibly drawn toward the person.
His performance, set across various locations like a bar and a rooftop, is the visual highlight of the video. His piercing gaze and restrained movements bring out a new and alluring side of him. The final scene, where he sits alone at a bus stop, still unable to forget that connection, leaves a lasting impression.
The video was filmed in Mexico, and the vibrant local atmosphere enhances both the mood and choreography, adding to the overall quality of the production. Speaking through BigHit Music, HUENINGKAI shared:
“When I first heard the song, it had a strong Latin vibe, and I immediately thought it would pair well with Mexico. The shoot was tight because we were also performing at a festival, but I’m really happy with how it turned out.”
Meanwhile, TOMORROW X TOGETHER continues to make waves by releasing individual music videos for each member from its 4th full-length album “The Name Chapter: TOGETHER”, which dropped on July 21. BEOMGYU’s solo music video, “Take my half,” will be released on August 3 at midnight KST.
