KICKFLIP
The group KICKFLIP made a strong impression by taking the stage at the renowned American music festival Lollapalooza Chicago.

On August 2 (local time), KICKFLIP performed at Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois, as part of Lollapalooza Chicago 2025. Founded in 1991, Lollapalooza is a globally acclaimed music festival. This year’s Chicago lineup featured numerous international artists, including Twice, Xdinary Heroes, Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, and A$AP Rocky.
That day, KICKFLIP delivered a 40-minute set, performing songs from their debut album “FLIP IT, KICK IT!“, their second mini-album “KICK OUT, FLIP NOW!“, and a medley of TWICE covers, all reimagined with full band arrangements. Starting with “제끼자”, followed by “Mama said (뭐가 되려고?)” and “Knock knock“, the group delivered powerful dance breaks, asserting their stage presence while actively engaging the audience.
Their covers of TWICE’s “Feel special” and “OOH-AHH하게” radiated bright energy, while “언젠가 태양은 폭발해” brought a refreshing vibe to the summer heat with a vibrant live performance. With songs like “응 그래“, “Freeze”, “Like a monster“, and “Complicated!!”, they elevated the atmosphere with cool, high-energy performances. “Electricity” featured an electrifying stage, while “How we kickFlip” showcased the group’s unique and free-spirited musical style.
Taking the stage at such a massive international event just six months after debut, KICKFLIP proved its live performance skills and confident stage presence, solidifying its reputation as a rising K-pop stage powerhouse. Right after the show, enthusiastic reactions poured in across online communities: “They genuinely looked like they were enjoying the stage”, “It’s amazing how they performed so confidently on such a big stage,” fans commented.
Having debuted this past January with their first mini-album “FLIP IT, KICK IT!“, and followed up in May with their second mini-album “KICK OUT, FLIP NOW!“, the members of KICKFLIP have quickly risen as a K-pop “super rookie.” The group is set to appear next at “Summer Sonic 2025″, with performances scheduled for August 16 at Makuhari Messe in Tokyo, August 17 at the Expo 70 Commemorative Park in Osaka, and August 24 at Impact Challenger Hall in Bangkok, Thailand.
