HIT IT BASE final show
The hip-hop training program “HIT IT BASE 2025,” organized by Big Hit Music for teenagers, has successfully concluded.

The 19 final participants, after six weeks of training, took to the stage for the final show of “HIT IT BASE 2025,” held on August 3 at Musinsa Garage in the Mapo district of Seoul. This event aimed to showcase the participants’ potential and the results of Big Hit Music’s specialized training in front of an audience.
The day’s event was hosted by comedian Son Min Soo, while singer Wonstein appeared as a special guest, drawing all eyes. The participants were divided into four teams, “우주헤엄” , “맥썬”, “간지군단”, and “HIB”, which competed in an on-stage tournament. The winning team, “우주헤엄,” chosen through on-site voting, will have the honor of introducing the music video for the group song to be released in September and will be given priority in selecting parts. This group song is a compilation of the tracks performed by each team during the finale, and all participants will appear in the video.
Over the course of six weeks, every weekend, participants received direct training from active hip-hop artists such as Mac Daddy, Boo Hyun Seok, Choi L.B., and Odee. They followed a comprehensive program that included lyric writing, stage production, and performance. Before the final show, they also had sessions with professional stylists to learn how to make use of costumes and accessories. After completing this high-level program, the participants gained real stage experience to conclude their training.
Big Hit Music stated:
“Through ‘HIT IT BASE 2025,’ we have once again confirmed new possibilities. We will continue to create an environment where young people can express their stories through music.”

“HIT IT BASE” is a hip-hop project launched by Big Hit Music in 2010. Initially organized as a rap tournament, it was restructured in 2021 into a training program dedicated to teenagers, reflecting Big Hit Music’s interest in and philosophy toward hip-hop. Moving forward, “HIT IT BASE” will continue to offer diverse training paths and stages for young music enthusiasts to grow in a tangible way.
