VVS - LENA
The girl group VVS expands to become a six-member group.
On August 18, agency MZMC officially announced the addition of new member LENA to VVS, stating:
“Finally, the complete formation of VVS shines. It’s a special moment to introduce this new recruit, a true gem, as a member of the group. In the future, with LENA, VVS will expand and deepen its universe even further.”
LENA is an exceptional artist, excelling in both singing and rapping. Born in Korea, she spent her childhood in Australia and is fluent in both Korean and English. With her elegant visuals and strong sense of entertainment, she was already recognized as a “hexagonal player” during her trainee years.
Additionally, she possesses strong skills and a deep passion for songwriting and composing, affirming her ambition to become a versatile artist.
To mark LENA’s official integration, VVS also announced the release of a performance video for “Touch it” from their mini-album D.I.M.M., scheduled for the afternoon. This will be their first performance as a six-member group, generating particular interest. Since the group’s expansion had been planned from the beginning of VVS, fans will now be able to spot LENA’s hidden appearances in previously released music videos and teasers, adding a new layer of entertainment.
VVS debuted in April with the single “TEA”, and released the mini-album “D.I.M.M.” a month later, making a strong impact on the music scene. The group drew attention as the first K-pop girl group produced by Paul Brian Thompson, CEO of MZMC and an American producer.
Members BRITTNEY, ILEE, RANA, JIU, and LIWON, while part of a girl group, adopted a concept that diverges from traditional beauty standards, offering a fresh texture to K-pop and receiving praise for this original approach.
