MONSTA X member I.M is resuming his activities.
On August 22, Starship Entertainment announced via MONSTA X’s official fan community:
“Since halting activities last July due to back pain, I.M has been focusing on rehabilitation treatment as advised by his doctors, and his condition is gradually improving.”
Starship Entertainment added: “After extensive discussions with the artist, it has been decided that he will gradually resume activities within reasonable limits.” I.M will take part in the upcoming concerts in Japan on August 27 and 28, as well as in promotions for the mini-album “The X,” set to be released on September 1.
Starship Entertainment further stated: “We always prioritize the health of our artists and will do our utmost to ensure I.M makes a full recovery and can perform on stage in even better condition.”

This is Starship Entertainment.
Regarding the health condition and future schedule of MONSTA X member I.M, we would like to provide the following update.
Since halting his activities last July due to back pain, I.M has been focusing on rehabilitation treatment as advised by his doctors, and his condition is gradually improving.
After extensive discussions with the artist, it has been decided that he will gradually resume activities within reasonable limits.
As such, he will participate in the ‘2025 MONSTA X CONNECT X – JAPAN’ concerts scheduled for Wednesday, August 27, and Thursday, August 28, 2025, as well as in promotions for the mini-album “THE X.”
We always prioritize the health of our artists and will do everything possible to ensure I.M makes a full recovery and can return to the stage in even better condition.
