The 8-member group YOUNITE (유나이트), under BrandNew Music, has taken Brazil by storm.
YOUNITE (Eunho, Steve, Eunsang, Hyungseok, Woono, Dey, Kyungmun, and Sion) embarked on a tour across Brazil from August 16 to 31, organized by the Korean Cultural Center in Brazil (CCCB). During the tour, they performed in seven Brazilian cities, São Paulo, Curitiba, Piracicaba, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Goiânia, and Brasília, participating in local festivals and holding solo concerts, all while receiving enthusiastic support from local fans.
As part of this tour, YOUNITE gave the first-ever live performance of its second single, “BOMBA (봄바),” released on August 4 specifically for the South American audience, adding a unique touch to the event. They also performed some of their fan-favorite tracks like “Rock steady,” “Geekin,” and “Waterfall,” creating unforgettable memories with their fans.
Even though this was their first tour in Brazil, the group made a lasting impression. They gave interviews with major local media outlets, collaborated with popular Brazilian influencers, and even received an official plaque of appreciation from the City Hall of Piracicaba (State of São Paulo), solidifying their presence as global artists who connect cultures through music.
At the end of their first Brazilian tour, YOUNITE shared their heartfelt thoughts:
“It was truly an honor to be able to go on this tour in Brazil. We started it with excitement, and we received even more energy and love than we had imagined. It’s an experience we’ll never forget. We’re so grateful and happy to know that we have fans supporting us from such a faraway place. The love and energy we received in Brazil will fuel us to keep going strong. We truly hope we’ll have the chance to come back again.”
Since debuting in April 2022, YOUNITE has continued to grow steadily through active promotions both in Korea and internationally. This Brazilian tour marks yet another milestone in their journey, raising even more anticipation for their global future.
